If You See Her

If you see her, tell her I have stopped breathing as I recall her artistic feel and consuming love for poetry and life.

If you see her,

tell her I am high on her

so please do not condemn me to the wrath of silence.

Tell her silence reigns,

Adorned in a mantle and a crown of hopelessness

as I relive memories of her; my immortal bard.

If you see her,

tell her I am jealous of those nights she drew me deep into her world.

But tonight as I beseech sleep to capture and soothe me,

I cry into the wall,

and curse the world in which she had to leave.
